Walmart Camo Pants To The Rescue...

Well Hello there *wink *wink! I've never owned anything in the army fatigue family because while I like to see this print on others it is not anything I would normally wear. I found these recently while I was doing my usual Walmart shopping, which I do way to often. I can't seem to leave that store without spending at least $100...NO LIE!

I saw these pants and thought, hmmmm...could I pull them off? I don't do sneakers and combat boots but I love how so many other bloggers have dressed up their camo pants so I thought I'd give it a shot. Do you LIKE?

Weekend Chic: Ripped Blue Jeans & Peplum Leopard Top...

Hi loves! I've been in total chill mode lately, spending lots of time to myself and honestly loving every minute of it. When you spend so much time on the go, it's such an amazing feel to slow down and truly appreciate all the things around us that we are beyond blessed to have. It's so eye opening to see how much we don't realize how good we really have it. Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and I'm already thanking GOD for all that he's given me....XOXO...Enjoy the week!

Dress Pants With Stripes & Blue Pumps...

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's still surprisingly warm in the north east. I love the layer concept that fall brings because you can really utilize all the pieces in your wardrobe. I found this adorable Elle jacket at the Salvation Army and instantly fell in love with the blue shade. I didn't even realize that it would go so well with my blue Nine West pumps *winning...LOL

I paired it all together with an old stripe shirt from Forever 21 and some black work pants. I thought it worked well with or without the blue jacket. I especially liked that I could button it up or leave the jacket open to show the stripe top underneath the jacket. Since it's warmer during the day and chilly in the evening this would be a perfect layered look for the fall. I hope you all feel the same way ;)....Enjoy the pictures xx

All Black Everything In A Little Black Dress...

Hey hey! I know, " where  have I been?"....I hate to just say that I've been extremely busy but it's the truth. I've been preoccupied with my move and I'm happy to say I've finally wrapped up most of it....LOL! I've also taken a much needed social media break. I love blogging and all but it can be distracting when you need to stay focused with the task at hand. I've missed blogging and but I check in every now and then to see what my fave bloggers are up to. It's hard to fully unplug but truly necessary.

Today's outfit is an oldie but goodie. I've had the dress and leather jacket for some time now but since they are staple pieces in my wardrobe I get so much use out of them. You can't go wrong with a little black dress and a leather jacket. The shoes are Nine West and the bag is Betsy Johnson sold at Marshall's. I hope you all are enjoying the season, so happy it's still warm enough to wear a short sleeves and a light jacket at night. Thanks for stopping by lovies, I appreciate you all.

Tribal Print Skirt & Blue Suede Shoes...

Hello everyone!! I'm not loving that it gets dark so early during the fall season. I feel like I get off work pickup my son and it's pitch black outside. I usually go for walks after work but I'm going to have to struggle with getting up early in the morning instead, I'm not a morning person so this should be interesting. I love this electric blue trend for the fall, I found these suede pumps at Marshall's for $40 and I LOVE them. The suede is so soft and I like that the heel is not to high. I'm sure you will be seeing more looks with these pretty pumps featured time and time again ;)

I found the bag (Betsy Johnson) at Marshall's as well, I really like that I can find affordable trends by popular designers for less at this retailer...I think I would make a great spokesperson. I hope you all enjoy what's left of the week... kiss, kiss beauties ;-)

Goodwill Hunting...

Happy Fall ladies! It's already chilly out in the early mornings and at night for us in the northeast. I actually enjoy the weather and must admit that fall is one of my favorite seasons, right behind summer ;) I mainly like fall for the fashion, I think there's so much fashion to display during the fall than any other season. I love that it's cool enough to throw on a light leather or denim jacket and still showoff your style, without being all bundled up. I especially like the fall because of the colors, warm colors are all around and the leaves turning colors are just mother natures way of showing us all the beauty around us everyday.

This outfit is another thrifted find, $5 Worthington pants $2 Ann Taylor shirt. The shirt is my fave because the ruffles make it a little less ordinary. I hope you all are off to a great start this week... Enjoy :)

For The Thriftanista...

Happy Friday to Ya! Happy Friiii-daaay ;-) LOL makes me want to sing happy songs when the weekend is near. I haven't been sharing all my thrifted finds lately but I'd like to introduce you to my $5 Bebe pants $3 H&M top, courtesy of Good Will. I stop in my local thrift stores as often as possible because I love racking up on huge savings. I was looking for new dress slacks and I found like 6 pairs along with some pretty tops...thumbs up for me!

I can't wait to share more of my thrift finds with you in upcoming posts. I think I'm pretty good at combing through sales racks and finding pieces that I can add to my closet. What do you think of my latest find?  I hope polka dots are still in because I'm pretty obsessed with anything with polka dots....Whelp! enjoy the pictures and have an amazing weekend!

Happy Thursday loves. Heading out for the evening, here's a look at my color palette for the next few months. I plan on introducing a few darker hues for the fall season. You'll be seeing more burgundy, red, grey, electric blues and so on. I think I'm going for a different feel for the new season ;) I hope you guys love the pictures.

Feeling Like Strawberry Shortcake...

Hi everyone...I swear I've never worn this much pink before..LOL!! I found my pink polka dot pants that accidentally got packed away with the winter stuff and I wanted to wear them before fall set in. I love pink because it just says girly and I'm very girly ;) I dropped my son off at daycare this morning and one of the little girls was wearing pink polka dots too and I thought, if I had a daughter we would have matching wardrobes....BUT God gave me a son because he knew I would go broke!

Enjoy the rest of the week loves and hope you like the pictures.

Minty Fresh...

Happy Monday! Thank God it flew by ;) I'm kinda looking forward to the fall season, the fashion gets so interesting in the fall. I love warm colors and fall is all about shades of brown, orange, burgundy. I also love the textures and patterns like tweed, hounds tooth, tartan, leather and so on.

I've been rocking so much green shades lately, maybe it's the hair color. Today's look is pretty comfy and casual and I love the mint green shades. Take a look at some of my other green faves below... Which look is your favorite?

Kisses!

Light Blue Blazer & Hints Of Neon...

Hi Beauties!! I missed it's been a minute but I'm still here, at least for now. In a short period of time I will be closing out one chapter in my life and beginning a new one. I will have to take some time away from blogging...well social media in general just to concentrate on my new journey :(  I love blogging but it can be time consuming at times and I'm ready to take a break but I'll keep posting until that time is near.

I love blogging because it's that little escape that I need from all the expectations of the real world. I hope you all have enjoyed the posts as much as I have over that past few years. I'm looking forward to giving the blog a face-lift and I will begin focusing on more topics outside of the ootd, hair, and makeup posts. I would love to add relationships, home decor, and DIY to the categories....What do you guys think?

Xoxo
